MAKE A DECISION. SEE WHY IT MATTERS.
Ten situations to practice choosing the right tool or collaboration habit. Wrong answers have no penalty; use the explanation to try again.
FIND THE MESSAGE YOU NEED
Build a small query and preview matching synthetic messages. The preview uses exact sender matching and case-insensitive subject substring matching; Gmail search behavior can differ. It never searches your real inbox.
Inspect real results before converting a search into an automatic filter. The builder accepts a plain email address and simple subject text; it does not parse arbitrary Gmail query syntax.
PLAN THE OUTCOME BEFORE THE INVITE
Create an agenda and see whether it fits the time budget. This drafts text for review; it does not book a room, convert time zones, check availability or send an invitation.
Before inviting: verify participant time zones, linked-file access and who must attend. Add a decision owner and clear action owners during the meeting.
CONNECT THE TOOLS TO THE WORK
Use Move up and Move down to arrange a recommended sequence. The check tests this lesson’s sequence; teams may use other valid workflows.
