SMALL SCRIPTS. USEFUL RESULTS. ✳

Hello, automation.

YOUR BUILDING PATH

Start small. Leave with a useful script.

LOCAL PRACTICE SIMULATION

No Google account is connected. Nothing is sent, scheduled or changed in Google. Each run starts fresh; “Run twice” repeats within one run to reveal duplicate effects. Only a subset of Apps Script methods is supported.

Complete the TODO, then try the simulation.
What does the simulator support?

Practice methods include spreadsheet ranges and values, basic formatting, Drive file iteration and copies, document paragraphs, Gmail drafts, Script Properties, locks, menus and hourly trigger registration. It does not model Google authorization, real quotas, server timing, sharing, every API overload or live delivery. The lock and scheduling examples are simplified, not a concurrency test or a running schedule.

Checks are educational tests against fixtures, not a security audit or a guarantee of correctness on real data. Edited code runs in an isolated worker with a time limit and blocked network access.

Take this script into Google Workspace

Export includes your current code, not an automatically completed solution. Replace fixture IDs and review its effects before running. Only paste code you understand. No Lab helper is needed in Google.

BEFORE YOU SHARE

Before you automate real work.

These are personal review notes, not an automated certification.

KEEP EXPLORING

Find the method behind the task.

Your next version starts with a question.

What happens if I change this? Keep a copy, try an idea, and inspect the evidence.
